As has become quite common in recent times, several of our auctions didn’t quite make it to auction day, with strong sales being completed in the days prior to the allocated auction day as well.

Here’s a summary of some of our recent activity:

Aberfeldie: 19 Tilba Street. Combining a luxurious low-maintenance lifestyle with a blue-chip Aberfeldie location near the riverside trails, this four-bedroom, four-bathroom home saw the SOLD sign go up on auction day at $1,652,500.

Airport West: 58 Highridge Crescent. Potential was the word on everyone’s lips as they inspected this three-bedroom home on around 646sqm of land backing onto the ‘Green Spine’ walking trail. Productive mid-week negotiations saw the deal concluded before the weekend (pictured).

Essendon West: 18 Ruby Street. A lovely wide allotment with direct access to Neil Heinze Reserve at the rear added to the broad appeal of this three-bedroom timber home. A competitive auction pushed the price beyond our vendor’s reserve before selling at $1.384 million.

Keilor East: 33 The Crossway. The unusual combination of a charming family home plus a self-contained studio with its own entrance proved a popular one, with a competitive auction pushing the price well above our happy vendor’s reserve before the gavel fell at $904,500.

Keilor East: 1/15 Nicholas Court. Tastefully renovated to maximise the appeal of its premium position overlooking St Bernard’s College, this luxurious five-bedroom, three-bathroom home sold at auction for a very pleasing $1.45 million, around $100,000 above our vendor’s expectations.

Keilor East: 2/15 Nicholas Court. The three-bedroom neighbour of the property above attracted good early interest, resulting in a sale prior to this week’s scheduled auction for $1.175 million.
