About Cairnlea

Cairnlea is a new estate located 17km north-west of the Melbourne CBD.

Cairnlea is a Melbourne suburb located in the City of Brimbank local government area, 17 kilometres north-west of Melbourne's Central Business District.

The suburb has only been developed since 1999 and features several man-made lakes and has implemented a suburb-wide stormwater recycling system that feeds all the lakes.

The Cairnlea Shopping Centre provides a number of small shops, a super-clinic, a Coles supermarket (24/7) and a choice of food and dining. Larger shopping centres are in abundance and only a short drive away including Highpoint, Airport West, Brimbank, Watergardens, Keilor - you're really spoilt for choice!

Cairnlea has access via the Western Ring Road to the city, as well as three train stations very close by, making it a convenient place to live without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city.

The M80 motorway runs along the southeastern border of Cairnlea. There are three large parks including the Iramoo Wildflower Grasslands Reserve. Cairnlea is home to the Victorian Croquet Club. The Albion Rovers Football Club is the local soccer team.
