Robert was born and raised in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. He has an in-depth knowledge of the area and understands what attracts people to live in this part of the world.
Looking for a role that provided lots of people contact and the opportunity to provide an important service, Robert moved into real estate and property management 11 years ago after a career in computer systems engineering.
With great organizational and communication skills, Robert had all the attributes to be a successful property manager and has now obtained the high level of training and experience to become a Barry Plant Accredited Property Manager.
“I’m always conscious of the fact that landlords entrust me with their investment properties. They are relying on me to care for their property and generate a good return on their investment over an extended period. Choosing the right tenant is just part of the equation, regular maintenance and inspections and ensuring that the rent is set at the correct level are also equally important.”
Robert believes that prompt and frequent communication is the most important aspect of providing a good service. With landlords, he likes to ensure that they are kept up-to-date with what’s happening in the marketplace; what vacancy rates are like, whether house prices are going up, and even recommending other good investment properties to purchase.
When not working, Robert can be found fishing or supporting his beloved Bombers.
