Matthew has extensive experience in the real estate industry, commencing his career in 1999 and purchasing his first agency in Shepparton in 2003, and since then growing into the multi-office network it is today.
While the signage on the three agencies will switch to the Barry Plant name and branding on Wednesday the 20th of February, Matthew and his team have already begun accessing the range of services and support provided by Barry Plant head office.
Agents from the three offices attended the Barry Plant Kick Start Conference held on the 11th of February, which is the leading, annual professional development event in the network.
Matthew said he is excited about the prospect of joining the Barry Plant network to provide additional training and networking opportunities for his teams across the three offices.
With strong community contacts across the Goulburn Valley, Matthew’s three offices complement each other and support the needs of vendors, landlords, buyers and tenants within the area.
With the Goulburn Valley property market defying the downward trends experienced in other parts of the state, Matthew said that there is strong demand for good properties in all three locations.
“Shepparton and Tatura properties are proving popular given their close proximity to each other and with a number of large businesses creating good employment opportunities, while Nagambie has always enjoyed popularity with locals and holidaymakers thanks to its accessibility to the airport and Melbourne, as well as the beautiful lake,” said Matthew.
The Barry Plant Group is Victoria’s leading real estate with more than 78 offices across the state.
