Rain doesn't dampen spirits at the Barry Plant Family Picnic

Mother Nature may have opened the skies for this year’s Barry Plant Family Picnic at Carey Sports Complex, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the many families who enjoyed a day full of fun and activities.

One of the many highlights came when the children heard Father Christmas had arrived. With the assistance of a number of special helpers, he then proceeded to deliver gifts to all the children in attendance.

Further excitement was in store when the always popular BP Bear and his beautiful friend, the Fairy made time in their extremely busy Christmas schedule to make an appearance. Always one for fun, BP Bear joined the children for some of the afternoon’s activities.

Thank you also to Camp Australia who did a wonderful job under inclement conditions looking after all the children’s activities, allowing adults time to mingle with colleagues.

As with many Barry Plant corporate events, the Family Picnic was sponsored by Leader Community Newspapers, Direct Connect, Open 2 View Photographers and Doncaster BMW. We take this opportunity to thank these companies for their ongoing support and look forward to staging many memorable events together in the future.
