What about the risk of exposure to Coronavirus during a private inspection?
The health and safety of our teams, our clients and the general community are vitally important to us. Before you will be allowed to attend an appointment you will be asked to confirm that you are well and have no reason to believe you have been exposed to the Coronavirus. The leasing or property manager will also need to confirm that they are well and not a risk, as will any of the occupants of the home you are going to inspect.
We will have hand sanitiser available for you to use before entering and after leaving the property. We will ask that you don’t touch anything while in the house and will ask you to maintain the recommended social distancing at all times.
What about virtual inspections?
Some of our offices have recently implemented virtual 360 tours of rental properties so that you can view the property without physically attending the property. Prior to signing the lease documentation, we will require you to physically attend the property to confirm your acceptance of the premises. We want to make sure that you are totally happy with your new choice of home before signing the legal documentation!
If you are a current tenant.
If you are the current tenant in a rental property, and you are either choosing to move out or the property is being sold, rest assured that we will do everything possible to ensure that any person inspecting your home during this process is in no way jeopardising your safety. If you have any concerns, please talk them through with your property manager.
At Barry Plant we are here to provide you with highly professional guidance and support through these times. Please do not hesitate to get in touch.
