That trend continued this week, when the Barry Plant network was able to utilise the back cover of the Realestate lift-out in Saturday’s Herald-Sun to announce that our group was able to successfully sell 508 properties in May. That number was substantially up on the 405 sales in April which, in itself, was a terrific result given all that was happening in our world at that time.
Numbers like these, along with the impressive level of buyer interest that we reported in LAST WEEK'S REPORT, are a great sign for anyone considering selling a property in our part of Melbourne over the next month or two.
This positivity was certainly evident in a number of recent sales that our team at Barry Plant Caroline Springs and Taylors Lakes were able to achieve for our clients.
One example was a beautifully renovated single-level three-bedroom home (pictured) in a peaceful pocket of Caroline Springs, which attracted strong interest from a mix of first home buyers, investors and downsizers before achieving a very satisfying mid-week sale.
Another example occurred in Hillside’s highly regarded Banchory Grove Estate, a pocket that has seen several of our SOLD signs go up in recent weeks. In this case we saw a grand double-storey owner-built home achieve a very pleasing result after a highly effective marketing campaign that drew the attention of several local families keen to upgrade.
The key piece of information for anyone considering selling in the current market is that sales results like these confirm that the buyers are definitely out there in numbers, the only thing holding the market back at all is a lack of available properties for sale. So, if you’d like an update on what your property could achieve in the current climate, you can give the team at Barry Plant Barry Plant Caroline Springs and Taylors Lakes a call this week on 9307 4000.
