As shoppers flock to retail outlets to beat the Christmas rush, homebuyers are also out in force trying to purchase their dream home before the market breaks for the festive holiday period.

While the market has been inundated with new property listings since Melbourne emerged from lockdown in mid-spring, the demand for property still outweighs what is currently being supplied, which is resulting in a large number of buyers missing out on purchasing a home weekly.

With an overflow of buyers, vendors are therefore still well-placed to achieve an outstanding sale for their home, as we witnessed today at many of our auctions and also during the past few weeks, where a number of properties were privately sold.
