Buyers get on with making a move!

Speaking to many buyers at open homes and auctions today, there was a change in attitude to “life goes on” and “we are not waiting anymore.” Most buyers are also factoring in future rate rises to their decisions.

Buyers and sellers have become comfortable in the more settled market, and it has made way for some great results this week.

Our sale of 8 Halifax Street, Mont Albert North which sold for $4,390,000 was Victoria’s highest sale last week and gives hope to the top end prestige market, leading into the Spring market.

Other encouraging news that came out this week, was the impressive May - July (REIV) clearance rates for some standout suburbs in our service area.

Auction success rate suburbs achieving above industry average were:

Bulleen - 80%

Nunawading - 70%

Blackburn South - 81.3%
