A bright, sunny afternoon in beautiful Melbourne delivered excellent auction results for buyers and sellers alike this weekend! We’ve seen fantastic results today across the cities of Manningham, Whitehorse and Eltham, and have experienced buyers out in full force with high numbers of buyers through our open homes this week.

Today’s standout results were 3/28 Roger Street, Doncaster East, selling at auction for $796,000 and 2/24 Raglan Road, Research, selling for $650,000 – a fantastic $90,000 over reserve!

This week’s private sales included:

  • 2 Wallmah Close, Templestowe – Sold for a pleasing $1,162,500
  • 59 O’Brien’s Lane, Templestowe (pictured above) – Sold for $2,000,000, and excellent result!
  • 53 Botanic Drive, Doncaster East – Sold before auction for a strong price of $1,210,000 that the vendor’s could not refuse!
  • 8 Poppy’s Court, Warrandyte – Sold for $1,390,000

Buyer demand across Manningham, Whitehorse and Eltham proving to be exceptionally strong whilst the number of properties currently for sale is still relatively low. Quality homes are tightly held and highly sought after, which is consistently resulting in strong sale prices across all property types.

Rental vacancy rates in our municipalities are also low, and we are experiencing a high demand from tenants looking to rent, particularly in prominent school zones.

If you are considering selling or leasing your property in 2018, I encourage you to get in touch with our award-winning team today to take advantage of the current favourable market conditions.
