February is heating up with strong sales continuing!

The realestate market is performing extremely well at the moment with listings volumes still low and buyer demand outstripping supply.

As of January 2021, the national dwelling market hit a record high value, against record low interest rates, a faster than expected economic recovery, and a strong mix of federal and state based housing stimulus measures.

With January now behind us, we reflect back on the best January sales results on record with 40 successful sales. Fuelled by an overwhelming buyer pool, and a serious case of FOMO buyers acted very quickly to secure the right home. February has kicked off in the same way with our eastern group recording many great sales this week and huge amount of offers (see below). Open home numbers were again at record levels this weekend and buyers moving very quickly to secure the right property.

Tips for sellers this week

  1. Property presentation is crucial - get expert advice.
  2. Have as much natural light as possible into the living areas - remove any unnecessary window furnishing.
  3. Service your AC units - February and March are traditionally hotter months.
  4. Have the section 32/contract of sale ready as many homes are only lasting 24 hours on the market.
