Inspection numbers confirm changed outlook

If you thought there were a few Demons supporters looking pleased with themselves this weekend, you should have seen the expressions on our vendors’ faces as fierce competition drove several of this week’s sales well beyond all expectations!

Clearly the ability to once again inspect properties by appointment has increased the number of buyers ready to compete for the limited number of available properties, with our team completing more than 500 property inspection in the past week alone.

Some of our more notable results included:

Burnside Heights: 17 Mimosa Way. Close to Kororoit Creek Primary School and the shops at Caroline Springs, this three-bedroom home sold during the week at $650,000.

Hillside: 6 Langmore Drive. This impeccably presented single-level three-bedroom home made a strong first impression with its updated kitchen, selling for $730,000.

Hillside: 9 Salisbury Court. A big block of around 1850sqm in the Regency Rise Estate and the rare combination of six bedrooms and garaging for four cars proved popular with ten bidders registering for Thursday evening’s auction. Competitive bidding pushed the price to a remarkable $1.132 million!

Keilor Downs: 13 Munich Drive. Wednesday evening’s auction of this renovated three-bedroom home attracted a remarkable 22 registered bidders. Our vendors were still shaking their heads in disbelief after seeing the SOLD sticker go up at an extraordinary $1.1617 million!

Kings Park: 5 Baron Court. A quiet court position close to Kings Park Primary Schools saw the ‘Forthcoming Auction’ sign on this three-bedroom home change to ‘Sold’ very quickly indeed.

St Albans: 58 Oakden Crescent. Park of a contemporary townhouse collection close to the shops and station, this tri-level three-bedroom home quickly found new owners at $550,000.

St Albans: 35 Fox Street. The generous living and entertaining spaces of this well-built three-bedroom home (pictured) found plenty of appeal among growing families, as did the generous car accommodation.

Taylors Lakes: 38 Bellbird Avenue. Tuesday’s online auction was another to attract 10 registered bidders, with spirited competition taking care of the rest. It sold for $931,000.

Taylors Lakes: 5 Prince Albert Crescent. Our first online auction for the week was held on Tuesday evening, with 16 registered bidders. The sale price of $955,000 was a great way to kick off the week.
