More good news for Brimbank market

Once again this week we are happy to report that buyer activity in our area has been continuing to demonstrate the high levels of confidence that we have been reporting since the start of the year.

Not only is our team reporting strong enquiry levels in all price ranges and property categories, but we have been able to achieve some excellent sales results across the City of Brimbank despite many Melbourne residents still being in holiday mode.

Among our more recent results were:

Albanvale: Evergreen Avenue. Close to an array of schools, transport options and Brimbank Shopping Centre, this well-established three-bedroom family home on an appealing corner block proved a popular opportunity before selling at $510,000.

St Albans: Conrad Street. One of two exciting recent results in this street, this appealing two-bedroom unit set behind a pretty picket fence (pictured) offered a combination a low maintenance lifestyle along with a price tag that promised an affordable entry to this popular area. A strong mid-week sale was the result at $470,000.

St Albans: Conrad Street. Situated at the front of a quality development of new townhouses within walking distance of the Alfrieda Street retail precinct, our second result in this street saw a three-bedroom low maintenance opportunity greeting new owners at just under $600,000.

Hillside: Stirling Court. Tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac within a short walk of the Hillside shops, Reserve and Primary School, this impressive double-storey home was another success story in a very active Christmas-New Year period.

Sydenham: Pecks Road. Conveniently positioned with easy access to Watergardens and Copperfield College, this attractive single-level two-bedroom unit found new owners this week.

For buyers, the only real challenge in the current market is the ongoing shortage of available property for sale. However, with a bit of patience and regular contact with your favourite salespeople, you should be able to approach the current market with positivity.

For sellers, there is no doubt that this shortage of competition from other sellers is providing an exceptional opportunity, particularly if you are quick.

So if you would like to discuss your options, our team at Barry Plant St Albans are always happy to provide you with obligation-free advice, so feel free to give us a call this week on 9367 7044.
