Spring market flying with 9 out of 9

If you want a summary of just how well the Spring property market is travelling in the City of Brimbank right now, this week’s results should provide it.

Nine auctions, nine sold, and some exceeding their ecstatic vendors’ reserve prices by more than 15%...that’s what happens when you have far more motivated buyers than you do properties to sell them! So if you’re considering selling in 2019, for goodness sake don’t leave it a minute longer!

Delahey: 5 Antonie Avenue. This three-bedroom villa home on 389sqm of land attracted four bidders who pushed the bidding fiercely before the SOLD sign went up.

Fraser Rise: 69 City Vista Court. An appealing three-bedroom home on a corner block with parkland at the end of the street sold for $475,000.

Fraser Rise: 17 Armstrong Walk. A big crowd turned out to watch three bidders compete for this four-bedroom terrace. The successful bid of $601,000 was more than 10% above out happy vendor’s reserve.

Hillside: 9/6 Highwood Drive. This contemporary three-bedroom townhouse in the Bellevue Estate received two strong early offers, resulting in a strong sale prior to auction at $505,000.

Hillside: 2/13 Westminster Drive. Four bidders pushed the price of this three-bedroom villa well over the reserve before it settles at an impressive $517,000.

Hillside: 21 Cuthbert Drive. Another offering in the popular Bellevue Estate, this four-bedroom on 684sqm sold for $617,500.

Hillside: 59 Banchory Avenue. This impressive five-bedroom home attracted plenty of interest from buyers keen to finish off the recent renovations. A huge crowd watched six bidders push the price well beyond the $750,000 reserve, producing a huge sale at $880,000!

St Albans: 1 Oberon Avenue. This original three-bedroom home located a stone’s throw from St Albans Secondary College drew immediate interest before we even had a chance to advertise it on the internet. A strong off-market sale was completed during the week.

Sydenham: 12 Ruben Drive. Attracting good interest from a mix of first home buyers and investors, this four-bedroom home with an eye-catching stacked stone façade sold well over the reserve at $591,000.

Taylors Hill: 14 Roma Court. There was plenty of competitive spirit in the air as we auctioned this good looking three-bedroom home in a quiet cul-de-sac. The satisfying sale price of $667,000 reflected this strong demand.

Remember, if you need any assistance or advice on how to make the most of the current market conditions, talk to the people with the score on the board. You can call us this week on 9367 7044.
