In fact, this week has been a very positive one across the western suburbs. Together with our colleagues in the Barry Plant network in the western zone, our team was able to achieve over $12.3 million in auction sales this weekend, with SOLD signs already having gone up on 18 of our 23 auctions and negotiations continuing on several more as I write this report.

Among the more notable local results were:

Albion

As mentioned above, our team set a new record price for a townhouse in this suburb when four bidders pushed the price of a beautifully built 3-bedroom abode in Wyalong Street all the way to a remarkable $781,000. As you can see from the photo, all parties seemed very pleased with the result.

Ardeer

An unusual 3-bedroom contemporary style home in Sunhill Court, overlooking the Kororoit Creek parklands, found new owners after a strong mid-week sale was negotiated at $535,000.

Sunshine

One of our auctions, a 2-bedroom townhouse in Monash Street, didn’t quite make it to the “going, going” bit after a strong offer during the week of $520,000 convinced our vendors not to wait for their scheduled auction.

Meanwhile, over in Station Place, a potential-filled 3-bedroom home made the most of its ‘Matthews Hill’ location in selling for $805,000.

Sunshine West

Local onlookers were thrilled as they watched 5 or 6 bidders fight it out to become the new owners of a 3-bedroom home in Bardsley Street. In the end, it took a big bid of $760,000 to seal the deal, a great result for our vendors.
