Another 100pc result as buyers get a Spring in their step
Once again this week we experienced a combination of increased numbers of motivated buyers, limited numbers of available properties and a Spring property market highlighted by favourable buying conditions. As a result, our team at Barry Plant Taylors Lakes was able to produce another 100% auction success rate for our vendors, with plenty of competition between buyers and some big sales results being achieved.
Some of the signs of a Spring market in full swing were:
Cairnlea: 13 Sedgefield Terrace
This good-looking four-bedroom home made a big impact from the moment it hit the market, both for its immaculate presentation and its family-friendly location within a short walk of Brimbank Shopping Centre and several parks including the Native Wildflower Reserve. So strong was the reaction, in fact, that a very strong early offer this week convinced our vendors not to wait for the scheduled auction in a few weeks.
Cairnlea: 44 Homebush Road
Located just around the corner from the property above, this well-presented four-bedroom home mad a similarly positive impression on the market, drawing praise from many of the buyers who inspected it. A pleasing mid-week sale in the $600,000’s was soon completed.
Caroline Springs: 23 Streeton Avenue
Situated in a popular pocket with Stony Hill Creek in one direction and a choice of schools in the other, this modern single-level three-bedroom home offered a turn-key opportunity for astute first home buyers. The SOLD sign went up in the high $400,000’s.
Fraser Rise: 95 Rowling Street
Boasting an appealing position in Fraser Rise’s popular Aspire Estate, this elegant two-bedroom villa home attracted a good-sized crowd to see the hammer fall at a very competitive $404,000.
Hillside: 3 Austral Court
Making the most of a quiet court location a short walk from Sydenham-Hillside Primary School, this impressive double-storey four-bedroom home was ideally set up for entertaining, including a good-sized inground pool. A productive auction saw the keys change hands at $810,000.
Hillside: 46 Jade Way
Our second great result in this street in the past couple of weeks, this modern three-bedroom townhouse attracted a mix of first-time buyers and investors, all of whom saw value in the convenient location.
Taylors Lakes: 30 Wentworth Drive
A big crowd (pictured) turned out to watch five bidders compete for this striking four-bedroom home in a sought-after pocket within walking distance of Watergardens. The outstanding sale at $900,000 was a fitting conclusion to a highly productive campaign.
As we mentioned in this week’s local paper, if you are considering making a move in 2019 there are a huge number of reasons to make your move right now. So if you would an obligation-free update on just how much more you could achieve in the current market, don’t hesitate to give us a call this week on 9390 8333.
