Once again this week we’ve seen continuing evidence of the underlying demand for property in the north west of Melbourne, with outstanding results being achieved both through competitive negotiation and auction.

Here’s a summary of some of our team’s recent results:

Delahey: 15 Chatterton Drive. This was our second property sale in this quiet pocket within the space of two weeks, with the keys to this three-bedroom home changing hands at $560,000.

Kings Park: 14 Maplewood Road. This three-bedroom home backing onto Kings Park Reserve found new owners before the photographer even had a chance to unpack his tripod!

St Albans: 66 Stradbroke Drive. This attractive three-bedroom home had plenty of appeal for young families, being within walking distance of both Primary and Secondary Schools. The contracts were inked mid-week at a very pleasing $680,000.

Sydenham: 4/1-3 Stratheden Court. Enjoying easy access to the shops and trains at Watergardens, this modern two-bedroom unit attracted strong interest from a mix of first home buyers, downsizers and investors. Our vendors cheerfully accepted a convincing early offer of $465,000 rather than waiting for this week’s scheduled auction.

Sydenham: 23 Boberrit Wynd. Buyers responded positively to the renovation potential offered by this double-storey four-bedroom home a stone’s throw from Copperfield College. A competitive auction saw the gavel fall at $676,000, close to 10% above our happy vendor’s reserve.

Taylors Lakes: 8 Hanslow Way. The outdoor entertaining spaces of this single-level three-bedroom home certainly made an impact of upgrading locals, as did the garaging for up to four cars. As a result, the SOLD sticker went up well before this week’s scheduled action with an early offer of $800,000 sealing the deal.

Taylors Lakes: 33 Robertsons Road. Combining plenty of street appeal with a quality finish, this striking four-bedroom contemporary home in the McCubbin Estate saw six determined buyers competing in front of a big crowd at this week’s auction (pictured). As a result, the bidding soared more than 10% above expectations before settling at a remarkable $990,000!
