The news that the social distancing restrictions were set to be eased further certainly seemed to add to the enthusiasm of home buyers in the north west this week.

Attendances at Open Houses were generally impressive, whilst most of those properties that weren’t open for inspection also seemed to be generating solid private inspection numbers. All in all, it’s been a positive couple of weeks for our vendors, including some pleasing sales results like:

Caroline Springs: 2/5-9 Strathvea Lane

This fully renovated three-bedroom townhouse utilised our highly effective Sale by Set Date® methodology to achieve an excellent mid-week sale at $537,000.

Delahey: 45 Flint Crescent

Set in a quiet cul-de-sac neat Gilson College, this family oriented three-bedroom home didn’t take long to find new owners, with the keys changing hands at $480,000.

Hillside: 1/9 Jade Way

A mix of market entrants and long-term investors showed the strongest interest in this low maintenance three-bedroom villa home, resulting in a pleasing sale at $515,000.

Hillside: 4 The Peak

Offered for sale for the first time since new, this single-level three-bedroom home within walking distance of Sydenham-Hillside Primary School achieved $730,000.

Hillside: 15 Highwood Drive

Enhanced by a privately positioned inground pool, this well-appointed four-bedroom home in the popular Bellevue Hill Estate found new owners after a strong offer of $780,000 sealed the deal.

Hillside: 4 Warrens Brook Road

Completing a string of excellent results in Hillside, this luxuriously finished double-storey five-bedroom home with a serene parkland outlook saw the contracts inked at just a little under $1 million.

St Albans: 40A Millawa Avenue

Conveniently positioned within walking distance of St Albans station and the Alfrieda Street shops, this modern two-bedroom townhouse found a ready market in the low $400,000’s.

St Albans: 1/29 Glyndon Avenue

Another modern townhouse to find good buyer interest lately, this generous three-bedroom showpiece made the most of an eye-catching front façade to achieve a pleasing mid-week sale.

St Albans: 69 Magnolia Street

Enjoying all the benefits of a peaceful residential pocket near St Albans Meadows Primary School, this tastefully updated family home saw the SOLD sign go up at $620,000.

Remember, if you are currently considering making a move and are keen to find out how to maximise your result in the current market conditions, (just like the vendors above did), you can call the team at Barry Plant Caroline Springs and Taylors Lakes on 9390 8333. We look forward to making a real difference to your result.
