Whilst many people assume that the property market goes quiet during the holiday period, we’re pleased to report that our team at Barry Plant Caroline Springs and Taylors Lakes has seen some very positive activity across Melbourne’s north-west since our last update of sales results.

We’ve seen a good cross-section of buyer activity in areas like:

Caroline Springs: Multiple sales have included a much-loved three-bedroom home in Gisborne Way, moments from Southern Cross Grammar, and a charming two-bedroom Ashcroft Cottage in the popular Cypress Views Estate.

Fraser Rise: A good looking three-year-old home offering four bedrooms and two bathrooms in Eaglecrest Rise had plenty of appeal for buyers who were considering building in this up and coming area. The sold sticker went up at $648,000.

Kings Park: With local schools a short walk away, and Brimbank Shopping Centre within a short drive, a solidly built three-bedroom home in Cromwell Road readily found good interest from several market entrants and sold for $515,000.

St Albans: Several outstanding recent sales across St Albans have included two results in William Street, a few minutes’ walk from trains, shops and St Albans Secondary College. These sales included a four-bedroom family home, and a brand new three-bedroom townhouse that achieved $630,000.

Sydenham: The sold stickers have been getting a work-out in January in Caroline Springs. Among the recent results we saw a convenient three-bedroom townhouse on Sydenham Road sell for just under $400,000 whilst an eye-catching contemporary three-bedroom home in Sacras Court, a short stroll from Watergardens, achieved a very pleasing $540,000.

Taylors Lakes: An imposing four-bedroom double-storey home situated moments from Overnewton College in the highly regarded McCubbin Estate attracted good interest from several local families wanting to upgrade. As a result, a contract was inked at a very satisfying $740,000 for 24 Moretti Avenue (pictured).

Results like these confirm that right now is a great time to be selling a property in this area. So, if you would like a confidential chat about how to maximise your result in these favourable conditions, don’t hesitate to give our team a call on 9390 8333.

Best wishes,

James Hatzimoisis & John Aaron Nakic
