Whilst some Melbourne residents may be spending a fair bit of time crossing their fingers at this year’s football finals play out, but recent activity in the Spring property market in our area seems to have had even more home buyers crossing their fingers as competition produces some outstanding sales results for our vendors.

Again this week our team was able to produce a 100pc auction success rate, the third weekend in a row that the Barry Plant Group in Taylors Lakes, Caroline Springs and St Albans has been able to reach this pleasing goal for our clients. What a positive way to start the Spring property market of 2019!

Some of our recent results have included:

Burnside: 16 Moneghetti Place

Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac, this modern low-maintenance three-bedroom home (pictured) saw three determined bidders push the price above the reserve before the gavel fell at a very pleasing $482,500.

Fraser Rise: 49 Hawking Crescent

As we’ve mentioned several times before in these Updates, our team has had a very strong run of sales on vacant land recently. This trend continued with the pre-auction sale of this fully titled 575sqm homesite with an outlook over the waterways. The contract was inked at $355,000.

Hillside: 15 Hawkesbury Avenue

This much-loved three-bedroom home made an impact with its overall warmth and charm, and its location in the sought after Banchory Grove Estate. So strong was the buyer response, in fact, that the vendors decided to accept a convincing early offer of $590,000 rather than waiting for this week’s scheduled auction.

Taylors Hill: 5 Brewster Way

With Taylors Hill Primary School right around the corner, this three-bedroom home was an obvious choice for young families, as well as investors wanting to appeal to that same group. So it was no surprise to see the SOLD sticker go up within a short time frame with the deal being inked at $590,000.

Taylors Lakes: 3 Hammersley Court

Situated in one of the earliest subdivisions in the area, this original three-bedroom home offered easy access to local schools, parks and transport. It attracted interest from several first home buyers, resulting in a pleasing early sale at $580,000 prior to this week’s scheduled auction.

Make no mistake, the door is open right now for local homeowners to make their move in the Spring property market and take advantage of some very favourable conditions.
