The arrival of the Stage 4 restrictions may have seen our team all transferring to working from home, but many of our clients would barely have noticed any difference as the SOLD signs kept going up and the same level of service and advice continued uninterrupted.

Phone calls to the office are still being answered by the same smiling voices, emails are still being responded to promptly, and clients are still seeing their property dreams become reality with the assistance of our team. In fact, this week our team at Caroline Springs and Taylors Lakes was able to achieve yet another 100% auction success rate, with mix of mid-week and weekend online auctions all finding new owners!

Among the latest results to put smiles on people’s faces were:

Hillside: 20 Brindalee Way. A mix of first home buyers and downsizers showed interest in this low maintenance three-bedroom home. The auction was moved to Wednesday to avoid Stage 4 complications, with 4 active bidders taking the price to an impressive $574,000, more than 10% above expectations.

Hillside: 5 Colburn Court. Tucked away in a quiet pocket of Banchory Grove, this four-bedroom double-storey offered plenty of upside for a growing family. After 24 bids, it sold for $650,000, which was $50,000 above the reserve.

Hillside: 12 Braddon Court. Another exciting family option in Banchory Grove, this tastefully renovated three-bedroom home attracted 5 online bidders, selling just over the $700,000-mark.

Sydenham: 11 Renae Way. An attractive three-bedroom terrace on the popular Rose Hedge Estate, this was another auction that was brought forward to avoid the Stage 4 restrictions. Three bidders produced a very satisfying sale at $515,000.

St Albans area: A very busy week for the team at St Albans has seen multiple properties being placed under contract in Albanvale, Kealba, Kings Park and St Albans. We’ll provide more information once the final details are completed in coming weeks.

Taylors Lakes: 8 Mantaura Avenue. A total of 51 bids from 8 bidders pushed the price of this neat entry-level home to $675,000, another success story to achieve $50,000 above expectations.

As we mentioned above, our team is still assisting people with all of their real estate needs, even though the door to our office is currently closed due to restrictions. If you need any advice or information, or you’d like to discuss how to prepare your property for an early Spring sale, you can still call us any time on 9390 8333.

Cheers,

James Hatzimoisis & John Aaron Nakic
