As you can see from the photo, the buyers were equally ecstatic at being able to end their search for their first home before the holiday break, particularly with so many members of their extended family in attendance at the auction for extra support!

The property in question was a prime example of the old saying about “location, location, location”. Not only was Lalor Railway Station at the end of the street, but the pre-school, the Lalor Park Primary School, local shops and acres of parkland were also close by.

The three-bedroom home at 58 Kingsway Drive was one of those property gems that enabled buyers to move straight in, yet still had tremendous potential for future enhancements when, and if, they were ready. So it was no surprise to see five bidders competing for the keys at the auction, and the eventual sale price of $628,000 was certainly a pleasant surprise for our happy vendor.

The important message for anyone considering selling in 2020 is that with so many buyers still yet to secure their next home, (there were four highly motivated buyers left disappointed from this weekend’s auction alone), we are likely to see plenty of strong buyer activity from the first few weeks of 2020.
