Suburb profile: Strathmore, VIC 3041

Strathmore is approximately 11 km north-west of Melbourne's CBD

Whilst the wide expanse of Napier Reserve has long been regarded as Strathmore’s major landmark, the arrival of DFO in 2005 certainly increased awareness of the suburb across the north-west, and with this recognition has come increased attention from the home buying public.

This is a suburb that offers a wide variety of home styles. Many of the older Strathmore originals have been transformed through stylish renovations, replaced by new homes, or given way to higher density developments with upmarket townhouses proving popularity among new residents. No matter what type of residence you choose, Strathmore’s easy access to the Napier Street shops & cafés, Primary & Secondary schools and train station all contribute to a very enjoyable lifestyle.
