Yering is a suburb 38km north-east of Melbourne’s CBD in the stunning Yarra Valley.

The area holds a lot of history of some of the original wineries and winemakers in the area. The original 1854 mansion on Melba Hwy built by the original founders from local hand-made bricks, marble and cedar brought over from New South Wales, is open today as the Chateau Yering Historic House/Hotel. Today you can still dine in the original dining room as it is now a restaurant.

Yering is mainly acreage properties, including vineyards and equine facilities. The Yering Gorge has some unique flora and is home to many native fauna.

Yering has a school, Yering Primary School, golf courses, archery club, as well as Lilydale airport flying school and sky dive.

It’s a beautiful location close to the amenities of surrounding areas with a country feel and stunning views.
