Victoria’s number one real estate group, Barry Plant, brings its unique brand of Red Carpet customer service to inner Bayside Melbourne, with a new office set to open in Mordialloc at the start of the new financial year.

Director of the new office, Michael Care, is highly experienced and has been part of the Barry Plant family for many years, excelling as an executive in the inner suburbs.

“I love the industry, and I love dealing with people,” Michael said. “I’m looking forward to bringing the Barry Plant brand to an area where it hasn’t previously operated – inner Bayside. I’m excited about offering a new level of service to the area.”

Barry Plant’s signature Red Carpet Experience is the philosophy that underpins the group’s 80 office network. It is the belief that a positive customer experience is every bit as important as delivering great results.

The new office will incorporate Phillips Nicholson Real Estate and will operate from the current location of Phillips Nicholson at 582 Main Street, Mordialloc. Phillips Nicholson will be re-branding to Barry Plant later in June. The business was originally established in 1919 by two returned soldiers from World War I and has been a leading Bayside agency for many years.

Current directors Con Nicolis and Damien Murphy will remain in senior positions and will continue to deliver exceptional service under the new brand. Ex-investment banker David Mariani has been appointed CEO.

David comes with a wealth of commercial experience and will have the specific task of growing the Barry Plant brand in the Bayside area. Michael, a Law/Commerce graduate, is looking forward to the challenge of starting a new business, and speaks glowingly of the support he has received from Barry Plant’s Head Office team.

“The support they have given me is outstanding,” Michael said. “They have assisted in all aspects of transitioning the business to Barry Plant.” “The training and systems that the Barry Plant brand provides will enable us to develop our staff members to the highest standards,” Michael added. “I think that kind of quality will be well received in the inner Bayside area.”
