Sales, Property Manager and Admin Roles Available now following a solid start to 2019

Despite a challenging real estate market across the country, Victoria’s leading real estate network, the Barry Plant Group, is looking to expand their team of sales professionals, property managers and administrative support, with many roles available now throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria for the right candidates.

“As the real estate market is currently tough, many businesses are shedding staff. However, we see this as an ideal opportunity to grow our networks for the future with experienced agents and talented newcomers. We recently surveyed our Franchisees and identified a significant number of employment opportunities across the Group,” said CEO, Mike McCarthy.

Mike said the recruitment drive follows the Group’s positive January results, with an increase in buyers attending open for inspections and an increase in sales by 12 percent on January 2018, despite a 22 percent downturn across the market.

Increased auction clearances for the Group, coupled with 93.4 percent clearance rate within nine days of auction are a positive trend to the market for 2019.

“With strong results across the network, and increasing demand from buyers, our offices wish to maintain excellent customer service and client satisfaction by investing in great people to achieve the best possible results now and over the coming years,” said Mike.

The Group is seeking experienced agents, property managers and administrative professionals with real estate experience, but is also interested in speaking with those considering a transition into a career in real estate with a network committed to professional development, marketing, and support.

Extensive, formal training offered through Head Office will provide prospective agents with ongoing professional development, but with a 1,100 plus strong network of agents, Mike said the difference for those considering moving to the network was the chance to be mentored by a team of leading real estate professionals.

“The opportunity to learn on the job from some of the country’s most experienced franchise owners is an excellent opportunity to develop a long-term, rewarding career,” said Mike.
