On the 4th of July, the Premier announced that a further two postcodes were to be included in the lockdown. The two postcodes are:

3031: Flemington, Kensington

3051: North Melbourne

Real estate offices in these lockdown postcodes are still allowed to continue to sell property and arrange rentals with the following restrictions around how this is carried out.

No open for inspections – private inspections only

If you are interested in viewing a home, contact the agent and we can arrange a private inspection for you. We will ask you to sanitise your hands before entering the property and also ask that you don’t touch any surfaces. We can also arrange other virtual ways to view the property prior to making a decision to view it in person. Ask your agent what your options are.

If you are a resident of a postcode that is in lockdown you will not able to attend a public open for inspection of a property in a suburb that is not in lockdown.

No Public auctions – online Auctions only

If we have a property that is being auctioned, you will be able to bid through an online platform such as Anywhere Auctions. You’ll need to register before the auction. Speak to our agent about how you can do this.

If you are a resident of a postcode that is in lockdown you will not be able to attend a public auction of a property in a suburb that is not in lockdown. Please speak to an agent about bidding for the property via an online auction platform.
