The revival of 1970s interiors couldn’t have come at a better time for the sellers of a striking house which was snapped up at auction.

The original character of the one-off design at 11 Tania Drive won the hearts of many and drew a big auction crowd on Saturday.

Two bidders smitten with its trademark exposed timber and brick and original floating timber staircase went head-to-head for the three-bedroom house.
