Australia's Number 1 Real Estate Agency continues its strong sales.
Barry Plant recorded a significantly improved result last weekend, with 62% of homes selling under the hammer on the day. This is compared to the REIV reported rate for Victoria of 49%. It’s important to remember that many properties that don’t sell at the auction do sell a few hours or a few days later as the marketing campaign that accompanies an auction is designed to attract the maximum number of interested buyers.
Realestate.com.au has published an interactive tool, found here: https://www.realestate.com.au/news/state-of-property-market/ that allows you to find the average days on market for a property in your suburb, with most suburbs in Manningham, Whitehorse and Nillumbik averaging 26-35 days on market before selling. Just one of our fantastic results this week was in Donvale – a four bedroom (plus study), five bathroom luxury home with tennis court and resort pool selling for $2,205,000.
