Don't discount winter

With a reduced number of properties available in the winter climate, buyers are pushing to the end of their budgets to secure their dream home before the traditional surge of a spring property market hits. Many vendors are still under the assumption that spring is the best time to sell but you’d be foolish to not take advantage of having fewer properties available to buyers and therefore less competition.

We have seen those vendors who have chosen to sell at this time of the year are the real winners. An example of this was one of our auctions today that saw a home in Doncaster, being offered for the first time to the market after 45 years of creating memories, attracting a large crowd of onlookers who watched on in anticipation as 5 eager families fired an electric succession of almost 50 bids in a fight to call this one their own.

If you’re thinking of selling, or want to talk to one of our team members about your next move, please give us a call.
