Buyers were out and prepared to compete at auction today as the available pool of properties has started to dry up.
Many purchasers recognised that there were unlikely to be many new opportunities to buy pre-Christmas and bid strongly on the last of this year's remaining auctions.
If you are a seller considering coming to market in 2024, it could be worth your while acting sooner rather than later. Traditionally, there is a surge of listing activity in late January and those who can act before then could well be rewarded given the lack of supply.
