In further proof of just how resilient the property market in the City of Moonee Valley and surrounding suburbs is right now, our team put together more than a dozen outstanding results for our clients in recent days.

These exciting sales included:

Airport West: 2/71 McIntosh Street. This modern townhouse located a short walk from the shops in McNamara Avenue was sold at this week’s auction for $687,000 (pictured).

Airport West: 67 Victory Road. Comfortable as is, but offering enormous potential for future enhancements, this three-bedroom home a stone’s throw from Westfield achieved an excellent $908,000 at this week’s auction.

Airport West: 8 Kingsley Road. Productive post-auction negotiations saw this brand new four-bedroom home sold for $1,267,500.

Avondale Heights: 78 Riviera Road. As we reported a few weeks ago, this four-bedroom home attracted such strong early interest that a seven-figure sale saw the SOLD sign going up several weeks early.

Essendon: 1/239 Pascoe Vale Road. This modern 4-bedroom townhouse was another to achieve a strong sale well before the scheduled auction, achieving $885,000.

Keilor East: 160 Rachelle Road. A relaxing setting overlooking Steele Creek parklands added to the appeal of this two-bedroom home, with the auction reaping an impressive $900,000.

Keilor East: 3 Quartz Court. The undeniable appeal of the Valley Lake Estate was demonstrated once again with the sale of this grand five-bedroom, four-bathroom showpiece through productive mid-week negotiations.

Keilor Park: 84 Swan Street. Potential was the word on everyone’s lips at this week’s auction of a three-bedroom home opposite the reserve. The gavel fell at $735,000.

Keilor Park: 4 Market Street. A mix of renovators, builders and investors showed the strongest interest in this three-bedroom home, with the auction producing $791,000.

Keilor Park: 83 Victory Street. Offering a modern take on low maintenance convenience, this three-bedroom home on a subdivided block rewarded with competitive bidding which soared to $852,000.

Maribyrnong: 2/23 Middle Road. This ground floor two-bedroom apartment near Highpoint sold well before the closing date on a Sale by Set Date® campaign, with the contracts inked at $384,000.

Moonee Ponds: 3/35 Hutcheson Street. This entry-level apartment made the most of a position that put Queens Park on the doorstep, selling for $273,000.

Strathmore: 8 Eldorado Street. With plans for three townhouses already in place, this three-bedroom home with serene views attracted plenty of interest from builders and investors before selling for $1.35 million.

If results like these have got you moving up your plans to make a move in 2023, keep in mind that it’s now just seven weeks to Easter. So if you are keen to take advantage of the positive pre-Easter market conditions, feel free to give the team at Barry Plant Moonee Valley a call this week on 9373 0000.

Cheers,

Bill Karp
