Once again this week, we’ve seen buyer activity in the City of Moonee Valley at every end of the price spectrum, from the keenly contested $400,000’s right through to the $2 million-plus bracket.

Among our team’s most recent results were:

Aberfeldie: 104/305 Buckley Street. It’s not often you see a double-storey apartment in the City of Moonee Valley, particularly when it’s one of just nine in the block. This two-bedroom example sold well before offers were scheduled to close, reaching $477,500.

Altona Meadows: 2B Ramson Court. Serenely positioned in a convenient court with abundant parkland around the corner, this recently refreshed single-level two-bedroom unit achieved a pleasing sale at $567,000.

Essendon: 68 Hedderwick Street. The renowned Mar Lodge Estate was the setting for the auction of this potential-packed three-bedroom timber home (pictured) on around 835sqm of land. Productive negotiations immediately after the auction saw a pleasing sale finalised on auction day.

Essendon North: 3/15 Duffy Street. Nestled in a convenient palm-lined avenue, this single-level two bedroom unit attracted interest from downsizers, investors and market entrants before the SOLD sign went up at $790,000.

Moonee Ponds: 513/40 Hall Street. Part of an ultra-central development with an impressive range of resident’s facilities including a pool, gym and more, this single-bedroom apartment achieved $425,000 through a well targeted Sale by Set Date® campaign.

St Albans: 106 George Street. Offered for sale with Town Planning approval already in place for the construction of four new townhouses, A number of local investors and builders clearly appreciated the potential of the site, with the keys changing hands at $820,000.

Clearly the current market is producing sound sales results in all areas and price ranges, which is great news for anyone considering selling in the next few months. So if you would like the support and advice of an experienced and objective local expert, you can call the team at Barry Plant Moonee Valley on 9373 0000.
