With Winter set to officially transform into Spring this coming week, it was great to see our auctions in the final week of Winter finishing off on much the same note that we have been achieving so regularly throughout the season.

Not only was our team at Barry Plant Moonee Valley able to achieve another 100 per cent auction success rate for our happy vendors, but we were able to complete a number of other exciting sales results through a variety of methods, reinforcing the value of our flexible approach.

Among our most recent results were:

Airport West: 64 Halsey Road. Set on a potential-filled allotment of around 613sqm, this one-owner three-bedroom home attracted strong early interest, resulting in an outstanding sale at $890,000 more than a week before this weekend’s scheduled auction.

Avondale Heights: 14 Ridley Avenue. Situated on a good-sized block of around 615sqm, this near original three-bedroom triple-fronted home attracted interest from builders, investors and young families before selling for $885,000.

Keilor East: 32 Border Drive. This spacious single-level three-bedroom home attracted strong competition from three main bidders at this week’s auction, resulting in a sale that exceeded our happy vendor’s reserve. The gavel fell at $896,000.

Keilor East: 114 Rachelle Road. A quiet but highly effective off-market campaign targeting our extensive database of registered buyers saw this impressive double-storey four-bedroom contemporary showpiece sold for $1.75 million before the neighbours even knew it was on the market.

Niddrie: 41 Haldane Road. This eye-catching contemporary home on a subdivided block offered four bedrooms and a study, with three bathrooms, and captured excellent city views. It achieved an outstanding mid-week sale at $1.535 million.

Strathmore: 107/82 Bulla Road. Utilising our unique Sale by Set Date® approach, this two-bedroom first-floor apartment a short walk from DFO sold for $420,000 well before offers were due to close.

With Spring now officially on our doorstep, you may be wondering what your own home could achieve with the benefit of the right advice and people behind you. So if you’d like to find out, why not give us a call this week at Barry Plant Moonee Valley on 9373 0000.

Cheers,

Bill Karp
