The Autumn market in the City of Moonee Valley and surrounding suburbs is continuing to produce outstanding results for many local sellers.

Determined competitive bidding at many of our auctions produced some excellent sales, some of which exceeded all expectations. Here’s a brief summary of what’s been happening:

Airport West: 1/52 McIntosh Street. This neat street-facing three-bedroom villa at the front of s group of three capitalised on an effective auction campaign to sell for $721,000.

Avondale Heights: 43 North Road. This potential-packed three-bedroom home on just over 600sqm of land was scheduled for auction this weekend, but strong early interest saw the SOLD sign go up before the day at $950,000.

Essendon: 312/55 Collins Street. Located a short walk from North Essendon Village, this neat one-bedroom apartment sold during the week for $288,000.

Essendon: 75A Deakin Street. This near new double-storey, four-bedroom home achieved an excellent mid-week sale, reaping $1.6 million.

Keilor East: 24A Lincoln Drive. This brand new four-bedroom, three bathroom contemporary home in a leafy tree-lined street saw competitive bidding drive the price all the way to $1.58 million, more than $100,000 above our ecstatic vendor’s reserve.

Maribyrnong: 2 Sentry Place. This beautifully renovated double-storey terrace positioned within a short walk of Highpoint attracted strong interest from market entrants and investors before selling last week for $610,000.

Niddrie: 19 Carrington Road. Future potential was the keynote of the auction of this older four-bedroom home on around 650sqm of land near Keilor Road. Strong buyer interest saw the keys change hands on this one for $1.497 million.

Pascoe Vale South: 1A Peronne Street. Situated in the Strathmore College zone, this charming two-bedroom home on a low maintenance block was marketed in collaboration with our colleagues at Barry Plant Coburg and sold via an online auction for $840,000 (pictured).

As we reminded you last week, the current Autumn market is producing some exceptional results in all price ranges and areas. If you’d like to know how much more your own property could achieve in the current market conditions, it’s as easy as giving us a call at Barry Plant Moonee Valley this week on 9373 0000.
