The Barry Plant team in Moonee Valley was back in auction mode this weekend, and with all three of this weekend’s scheduled auctions now proudly wearing SOLD signs, it’s clear that there are still a large number of home buyers who aren’t prepared to let the uncertainty surrounding the current social distancing restrictions get in the way their search for their dream home.

In fact, our team conducted over 100 separate private property inspections this week, while a flexible approach to marketing methodology produced multiple results on top of our auction successes.

Among our most recent results were:

Airport West: 3/9 West Court

A well-built two-bedroom townhouse offering a low maintenance lifestyle close to Hansen Reserve, this one didn’t make it to auction with the vendors happily accepting a convincing early offer of $615,000 rather than waiting for this weekend’s scheduled event.

Airport West: 2/35 York Street

A quiet off-market campaign produced a very pleasing result on this brand new two-bedroom townhouse, with the contracts being inked during the week.

Ascot Vale: 79 Francis Street

Boasting a prime position in the exclusive Rothwell Hill precinct, this charming double-fronted period home attracted five registered bidders for the online auction and sold above reserve at $1.06 million.

Keilor East: 15 Carey Court

With its quiet court location and easy access to all the key amenities, this potential-filled three-bedroom home was another one to enjoy a quick conclusion to its campaign, with a strong pre-auction offer of $752,000 being completed well before the scheduled auction.

Maribyrnong: 6/42 Wests Road

Utilising our unique Sale by Set Date® marketing methodology proved to be a wise decision for the vendors of this two-bedroom second floor apartment situated within walking distance of Highpoint. A strong sale (pictured) was negotiated well before the deadline arrived at just over $400,000.

Moonee Ponds: 9/1-3 Grandison Street

An ultra-convenient location close to trams and the vibrant shopping and café scene of Puckle Street proved a telling feature of this two-bedroom apartment. A very satisfying mid-week sale at $440,000 provided a prompt conclusion to a highly effective campaign.

Remember, if you need any assistance at all in the current market, whether you are buying, selling or leasing, the team at Barry Plant Moonee Valley are always happy to share their knowledge and experience. You can call us any time on 9373 0000.

Best wishes,
