It's still raining buyers

You might have thought that after a week of temperatures dropping, snow falling on the mountains and the wind making life difficult for everyone, a few home buyers might have decided that hibernation was a better alternative than house hunting today.

However, judging by our results this week and the turnouts at our Open Houses, today’s home buyers are made of sterner stuff than that!

As I write this Update, two out of three of our auctions today in Keilor Park and Maribyrnong are already officially sold, whilst negotiations are continuing on the remaining auction in Airport West. So there are certainly no signs of any cooling of the market from that perspective.

Of course, if you were at any of our Open Houses today, you won’t need me to tell you that the levels of interest across the board have not dropped off at all, so it seems likely that the current strong market will carry all the way through to the arrival of Spring without any form of drop off at all.

The important thing to remember is that the law of supply and demand is currently stacked very much in favour of the seller, but this is likely to change once we get into the traditional ‘Spring rush’, So if you would like some experienced advice in planning your own move, don’t hesitate to give me or one of our team a call on 9373 0000.

We’re here to help if we can and, as our recent record shows, we really can make a difference for home owners just like you.

Stay safe this weekend.
