The article written by Nathan Mawby, which appeared on pages 30-31 of the paper on November 19th, looked at the Melbourne real estate market and examined which areas of our town provided a high liveability index whilst still having a median price under $1 million.

What was really interesting was how prominently the City of Moonee Valley and surrounding suburbs featured in the top ranked suburbs.

For example, among the Top 8 suburbs with houses offering the best balance of amenity and affordability, Keilor, Keilor Park and Gladstone Park were all listed. What’s more the rankings for units also added Moonee Ponds and Kensington to the list as well.

That’s a fairly impressive endorsement for what our particular pocket of Melbourne offers, isn’t it!
