Moonee Valley market steps up for October

Now that the Grand Final is behind us and September has become October, the Spring property market in the City of Moonee Valley seemed to step up an extra gear this week, with several exciting sales results being achieved for happy vendors.

As you can see from the small sample of recent results below, our team at Barry Plant Moonee Valley has been achieving sales through a variety of methods, from private negotiation and our unique Sale by Set Date® methodology to auction…even a discreet off-market campaign or two.

They include:

Airport West: 3/29 Walters Avenue. Enjoying a private position at the rear of a group of three, this three-bedroom unit was successfully sold during the week leading up to the auction for a pleasing $670,000.

Airport West: 29 Harrington Road. A highly productive off-market campaign utilising our extensive database of registered buyers and local builder/developer contacts saw this conveniently positioned site sold for $1.075 million.

Essendon: 4/16 Leake Street. This unusual two-bedroom apartment attracted immediate interest due to its enormous wrap-around balcony and sold for $455,000 prior to offers being due to close on a successful Sale by Set Date® campaign.

Keilor East: 15 Paul Avenue. Originally pencilled in for auction this weekend, this potential-filled three-bedroom home on around 647sqm of land attracted immediate interest from builders, developers and investors. It sold very early in the campaign for $965,000.

Moonee Ponds: 32/21 Moore Street. Perhaps it was the expansive city views (pictured) or the luxury finishes, but this two-bedroom fifth-floor apartment generated buyer interest from the moment it hit the market. Mid-week negotiations saw the keys change hands at $560,000 well before offers were due to close on the Sale by Set Date® campaign.
