Once again this week, our team in the City of Moonee Valley has experienced the effects of a property market where the buyer demand that was building up throughout the past few months of lockdown has been unleashed.

Not only has our sales team has been dealing with literally hundreds of phone calls and emails from buyers anxious to inspect the limited number of properties available for sale, but many of these buyers have shown that they will have no hesitation to make convincing offers on the right properties in order to try to secure them without a time delay.

As a result, we have seen some outstanding sales results being achieved, confirming the level of buyer demand. Among some of the recent examples were:

Aberfeldie: 6 Batman Street. Making the most of its sought-after position in the River precinct, and highlighted by touches of Art Deco styling, this serene four-bedroom home was successfully sold as a result of productive mid-week negotiations.

Airport West: 2B Patrick Court. An online auction on Monday evening produced a very satisfying result on this two-bedroom unit near Hansen Reserve, with the happy vendor (pictured) pleased to be moving on after the gavel fell at $542,500.

Airport West: 1B Miriam Court. The quality finishes and thoughtful design certainly made in impact in this brand new three-bedroom town residence, with the keys changing hands for a very pleasing $900,000.

Avondale Heights: 10 Charmaine Avenue. Attracting interest from a range of buyers with interest in renovation or building anew, this original three-bedroom home on around 534sqm of land sold for $750,000.

Keilor East: 26 Wyong Street. Offering east access to shops and a choice of schools, this modern single-level three-bedroom home was sold well before its Sale by Set Date® deadline at $800,000.

Results like these are further confirmation that there are a large number of buyers active in the Moonee Valley market right now. So, if you’re weighing up whether now is the right time to sell, don’t hesitate to get in contact with the team at Barry Plant Moonee Valley for details on how we can maximise your result in the current climate.

Why not give us a call this week on 9373 0000.

Cheers,

Bill Karp
