The sun came out of its winter hibernation today and it seemed to have brought a few extra buyers with it if the inspection numbers from our Open Houses today were anything to go by.

Many of our team are reporting pleasing buyer numbers that extend right across all price ranges and suburbs, which will be good news for anyone planning on selling over the next month or two.

This strong interest also translated into some good results at our auctions today. The 3 bedroom contemporary townhouse at 13/3-7 Turner Street in Moonee Ponds ended up selling for a very pleasing price of $455,000 after good interest from both first home buyers and investors.

Meanwhile, over at 5/1 Lock Street in Airport West, (pictured) a similar mix of buyers saw this 2 bedroom rear unit sold for $355,000 which was again a pleasing result for all concerned.

Our third scheduled auction in Ryder Street, Niddrie is still under negotiation as I write this report.

With recent figures on consumer confidence levels, (both in the property market and the economy overall), showing an increase in recent months, the outlook for those smart sellers who get in early in Spring rather than leaving it too late looks very promising indeed.
