The proof is in the (Christmas) pudding

It’s great to be able to provide you with my final Market Update for 2013 on a really positive note, as befits a year that has had so many positive elements to it.

We only had one auction left to conduct today, but the fact the home at 73 Bowes Street Airport West is now proudly bearing a SOLD sign means that we can go out with another 100% clearance rate for the weekend!

More importantly though, the fact that December 2013 has already set a new record as the most successful month our team has had for more than 3 ½ years, (and there’s still 10 days left in the month), says a great deal about the tremendous results we have been able to achieve for our clients in the shadows of the Christmas period!

Our recent run of outstanding results is living proof of the fact that there are still a lot of buyers out there who are really keen to buy their next home right now, rather than waiting until February 2014 when auctioneers voices will start ringing out in our streets once again. As the saying goes, “The proof is in the pudding”, and this year’s Christmas pudding will be decorated with Barry Plant SOLD signs for many happy home owners.

With this in mind, our offices will be open and operating throughout the next few weeks other than the main days, so no matter whether you want to buy, sell or lease, you can be sure we will be there to assist you when you need us.

In closing, on behalf of everyone at Barry Plant Essendon and Niddrie, let me wish all of our clients, friends and readers the very best for the festive season. We hope you have a relaxing and enjoyable time over the next few weeks.

I’ll catch you again in 2014.
