The City of Moonee Valley, along with the Essendon Camera Club, is running a photographic competition that is designed to celebrate the diverse ecology we are blessed with in the area.

As we all know, nature can be found in all sorts of places. It’s not just about our many parks and conservation reserves. It’s something that extends to our own backyards, streetscapes and even some of our local buildings.

Entrants are invited to enter one picture per theme, making a total of up to four entries per person. The themes are Backyards; Parks; Water and Streetscapes. There are also different categories to encourage entries from younger residents, with separate awards for entrants over 18, secondary students aged 13 to 17 and entrants under 12 years of age.

Entries can be submitted online and must be received by 5pm on Monday, June 16th. For all the details, you can go straight to the Council’s web page by CLICKING HERE…
