As we have been saying in these posts for several weeks now, our experience is that no matter what is going on around us, there are still a lot of people in the City of Moonee Valley and surrounding suburbs that are keen to buy or sell property…in many cases both.

We were reminded of this as more outstanding sales were being completed around the local market recently. We were also reminded of the benefits of being a part of a network that works together to achieve outstanding results for our vendors, as one of this week’s results proved.

Here’s a small cross-section of what’s been happening:

Airport West: 1/53 Clydesdale Road

This deceptively spacious single-level three-bedroom enjoyed prime position at the front of the block, with its own front garden and driveway. With the shops and cafes on McNamara Avenue, the local kindergarten and St Christopher’s Primary School all close by, not to mention Westfield, this easy-care home promised a high degree of convenience and achieved a strong mid-week sale at $705,000.

Avondale Heights: 37 Medfield Avenue

After being cherished by the one family since new, this three-bedroom home was being offered for sale for the first time. Enjoying a prime location within walking distance of the Maribyrnong River, not to mention the local shops and schools a stone’s throw away, this neat family haven attracted interest from a variety of buyers before selling for a competitive $680,000.

Hadfield: 53 Domain Street

As mentioned above, the sale of this classic three-bedroom home was one where the combined efforts of our Moonee Valley and Glenroy offices made all the difference. With both offices working closely to maximise the interest of buyers from both areas, the sold sign went up this week at a very pleasing $750,000. As you can tell from the photo above, our vendors were more than pleased with the result.

The good news for buyers is that we have been seeing some outstanding new opportunities hitting the market this week as vendors are beginning to recognise that a good result is still possible despite the current lockdown provisions. So is we can be of assistance in helping you bring your property plans to reality, feel free to give the team at Barry Plant Barry Plant Moonee Valley a call on 9373 0000.

Best wishes,
