One fact that often surprises people, particularly when they are selling a home for the first time, is that whilst some real estate agencies share the same logo, they often seem to compete with each other for your business.

That’s not how it works at Barry Plant, and we were reminded of that again last week when we were called on to achieve another terrific result for our clients.

In case you weren’t aware of it, every Barry Plant office is part of a network that actually works together to get their clients a better result. In fact, no matter which Barry Plant office you list your property with, EVERY salesperson in EVERY Barry Plant office has full incentive to introduce buyers for your property.

We saw another example of how this works just last week when we auctioned a stunning clinker brick home in Pascoe Vale South (pictured). The marketing of this property was conducted as a joint campaign alongside our colleagues at Barry Plant Coburg, and was a telling example of how two heads can be better than one when adding value to a vendor’s sale.

The property certainly attracted plenty of interest during the campaign, with buyers responding positively to the classic Art Deco features having been built in 1938, the tasteful integration of multiple modern comforts including a striking stone kitchen with Ilve appliances, and the sought-after location in the Strathmore College zone on Coonan’s Hill.

With buyers being generated through the teams at both offices, it was no surprise to see a competitive auction producing an outstanding sale, with the SOLD sticker going up at $1.384 million.

The message here is clear…if you’re thinking of selling, why not talk to the people who can put an entire network of offices to work on your behalf, rather than just a single office?

Barring an unforeseen change of plans, our office should reopen on Thursday morning, so feel free to give us a call at Barry Plant Moonee Valley a call this week if you need any advice or assistance on any property-related matter.
