The further easing of restrictions this week was good news for so many residents of Melbourne. For some, it was a chance to catch up with friends and family, for others it was a chance to sit down at one of our favourite eateries and enjoy the simple joys of good food.

For the property market in the bayside suburbs, however, this week marked the transition back to viewing properties through and Open for Inspection, and to conducting auctions onsite rather than on a computer screen.

The good news for anyone planning on selling in the remaining weeks of 2021 is that our team at Barry Plant Frankston was able to produce a terrific 100 per cent auction success rate this week, utilising both online and onsite auctions as well as one-on-one negotiations.

These exciting sales results included:

  • Cranbourne: 269 Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road. Just a short walk from the Hunt Club Shopping Centre, this three-bedroom home offered a convenient lifestyle for a young family and sold as a result of competitive mid-week negotiations.
  • Cranbourne East: 7 Donohue Street. Utilising our unique Sale by Set Date® strategy, this stylish four-bedroom home in the Cascades on Clyde Estate sold prior to the planned closing date.
  • Frankston: 7 Coonac Place. A quiet court location, moments from the redeveloped Karingal Hub drew interest from young families and couples, resulting in a strong sale prior to auction at $665,000.
  • Frankston: 6 Rhonda Court. This largely original four-bedroom home in a quiet court near Peninsula-Kingswood Golf Club had plenty of upside for aspiring renovators, selling during the week for $725,000.
  • Frankston: 3/39 Yuille Street. Tucked away at the rear of a group of three, this four-bedroom townhouse sold at auction on Saturday at $975,000.
  • Frankston: 1/39 Yuille Street. Our auction on Thursday evening produced an outstanding result on this sophisticated four-bedroom townhouse (pictured), with the gavel falling at $1,382,500!
  • Frankston South: 7 Warringa Road. Making the most of a prime location in the Frankston High School Zone, this three-bedroom town residence sold at auction for $922,500.
  • Seaford: 3/8 Wisewould Avenue. A mix of first home buyers and investors were keen to bid at the auction of this two-bedroom unit located minutes from the beach. Competition took the selling price to $560,500.

Keep in mind, if you are considering selling before the end of 2021, and you want to be sure that you are maximising your result, be sure to give us a call at Barry Plant Frankston to discuss your options in this high-demand market on 9781 3100.

You might be surprised at just what is possible.
