The final weekend of November confirmed that there is still a great deal of residual buyer demand in the market, as our team achieved another 100 percent auction success rate for multiple happy vendors.

Indeed, this weekend’s auctions exceeded their combined reserves by a total of more than $216,000, suggesting that we are in for a busy four weeks in the lead-up to the Christmas break.

Among our most recent results were:

Cranbourne West: 5 Bronte Street. Located in the highly sought-after Quarters Estate, this four-year-old single-level home enjoyed a strong sale at $650,000 through competitive negotiations.

Frankston: 18 Wave Street. Tastefully updated and centrally positioned, this two-bedroom home attracted interest from several first home buyers before selling at auction for $698,800.

Frankston: 7 Wattle Drive. Enjoying a quiet position in Frankston Heights that appealed to young families, this four-bedroom home saw the gavel fall this weekend at $737,000.

Frankston: 5 Inglenook Crescent. Some modern updates and a free-flowing floorplan made an impact on visitors to this four-bedroom home (pictured), with the auction producing $795,000.

Frankston: 74 Willow Road. The flexibility provided by the split-level four-bedroom floorplan of this renovated home drew plenty of admirers, resulting in a strong auction sale at $915,000.

Frankston North: 52 Nodding Avenue. Very much a blank canvas for those with an eye on future potential, this three-bedroom home sold at last week’s auction for $606,000.

Officer: 39 Tagore Walk. This eye-catching contemporary townhouse just around the corner from Officer Secondary College saw the keys change hands at auction for $580,000.

Seaford: 7/4-6 Wisewould Avenue. This two-bedroom unit achieved a quick result, selling off-market before the photographer could even unpack their tripod!

Of course, with December now just days away, some homeowners will be giving thought to planning a sale early in 2022. However, this is a lot you can do in December to ensure you are ready to make the most of the opportunities that the early new year will provide, particularly in an area like the bayside suburbs. So if you’d like to discuss your options, feel free to give us a call this week at Barry Plant Frankston on 9781 3100.
