There may have been an outpouring of cheers around Melbourne as we hit midnight Thursday, and the first stage of the easing of restrictions took effect, but the property market in the bayside suburbs has clearly embraced the road map if our sales results this week are anything to go by.

Whether through online auctions during the week, onsite auctions on the weekend or competitive one-on-one negotiations throughout the week, our team was busy putting together deals that often exceeded our vendors’ expectations.

Here’s a summary of some of the more notable results:

Botanic Ridge: 30 Rennison Drive. Set in the heart of Botanic Ridge with easy access to Cranbourne South Primary School, this modern five-bedroom home achieved a strong mid-week sale.

Frankston: 1/11 Sheridan Avenue. The bidding for this fully renovated two-bedroom villa unit with easy access to Long Island Beach exceeded all expectations, soaring all the way to $600,000.

Frankston: 46 Ferndale Drive. Combining a pleasing combination of space and style with appealing indoor-outdoor entertaining spaces, this three-bedroom home sold at auction for $750,500.

Frankston: 9 Quamby Avenue. This updated three-bedroom home in the sought-after Marylands Estate was auctioned this weekend, producing a very satisfying sale at $755,000.

Frankston: 15 Oaklands Crescent. This charming three-bedroom home near John Paul College benefitted from a competitive mid-week auction, selling for $757,000.

Frankston: 1/13 Foot Street. Offered in as-new condition, this striking three-bedroom townhouse near the Botanic Gardens exceeded expectations at Thursday’s auction, reaching $779,000.

Frankston: 35 Williams Street. This week’s much-anticipated on-site auction of this classic Art Deco home on around 1166sqm with dual street frontages in the Frankston High zone (pictured) saw the SOLD sticker go up after a pleasing seven figure sale.

Lyndhurst: 27 Silverwattle Drive. Designed for large scale family entertaining, this three-bedroom home within walking distance of Lynbrook Station sold for $705,000.

With nine weeks to run before the Christmas break arrives, there’s a huge opportunity for local homeowners to make their move while buyers are clearly motivated, but you will want to get the wheels in motion soon. So why not give us a call this week at Barry Plant Frankston so we can make sure you don’t miss these incredibly favourable selling conditions. You can get us on 9781 3100.
