Despite the best efforts of some sections of the media to do some scaremongering on interest rates during the week, (an attempt that was promptly shot down when the Reserve Bank confirmed that any move on rates is unlikely to occur until 2023 at the earliest), we saw further confirmation that a slight increase in the number of properties available for sale in the bayside suburbs has given many buyers the confidence to press forward with their efforts to secure their next home before the year ends.

Several of our recent sales results showed just how keen the buying public is about buying a property right now. They included sales at:

Botanic Ridge: 12 Adriana Circuit. This impressive four-bedroom, two-bathroom home offered a rare combination of expansive living and entertaining space indoors and out with the unexpected bonus of accommodation for up to four cars. Strong buyer interest produced an equally strong sale during the week.

Clyde North: 26 Pygora Way. Offered in as new condition in the Clydevale Estate, a short walk from the wetlands, this single-level three-bedroom home didn’t take long to find new owners, with the contracts being inked just before the weekend.

Frankston: 6/19 Bradshaw Street. Whilst property investors showed the strongest interest in this two-bedroom villa near John Paul College, we also fielded several calls from first home buyers before strong mid-week negotiations saw the sold sign go up at $350,000.

Frankston South: 2/81 McComb Boulevard. Enjoying a quiet leafy location within the Frankston High School zone, this contemporary three-bedroom townhouse provided easy access to the shops on Norman Avenue and the Sweetwater Creek nature reserve. Competitive negotiations saw the keys change hands during the week.

The good news for anyone who is keen to sit down to Christmas dinner this year knowing that they won’t be house hunting in 2022 is that we have several exciting opportunities that are currently available for purchase in the next few weeks. You’ll find all the details by CLICKING HERE...

In the meantime, if you would like any advice or assistance on any property-related matter, whether you are buying, selling or leasing, feel free to give us a call this week at Barry Plant Frankston this week on 9781 3100.
