There are a lot of frustrated homebuyers out there who would love to be able to physically inspect properties for sale at the moment. However, you might be surprised to know that there are still quite a few quality sales results being achieved by our team at the moment, despite the restrictions.

Our team at Barry Plant Frankston have been busy this week conducting virtual appraisals for clients via zoom calls and are still listing properties remotely. What’s more, we have conducted a number of online private inspections for buyers and have negotiated some outstanding results along the way.

A cross-section of our recent results includes:

Clyde North: 54 Cochin Drive. Set in the highly regarded Clyde Springs Estate, this 3-year-old single-level home (pictured) had walk-in robes in all three bedrooms and enjoyed parkland views. The sold sign went up during the week despite the challenges of the lockdown.

Cranbourne: 35 Dearing Avenue. This three-bedroom home with plenty of car accommodation confirmed the appeal of undeniable potential when achieving a satisfying mid-week sale.

Cranbourne North: 6 Retreat Road. Strategically positioned on a prime corner block in the popular Sierra Estate, this generously proportioned three-bedroom home managed to see the contracts inked before the restrictions came into effect, selling for $670,000.

Frankston: 4/78 McMahons Road. This three-bedroom townhouse near John Paul College attracted interest from a mix of market entrants and investors before selling for just under the $600,000-mark.

Frankston South: 30 Dunstan Street. A quiet off-market campaign saw this three-bedroom home changing hands before the photographer even had a chance to unpack their tripod.

Skye: 1/244 McCormicks Road. Offering a low maintenance lifestyle without any Body Corporate, this street-facing three-bedroom unit across the street from Carrum Downs Secondary College took no time at all to find new owners.

At the moment, none of us is too sure of when the current lockdown restrictions will be eased. However, if you are planning on selling in what’s left of 2021, there is a lot you can be doing right now to ensure that you can hit the ground running as soon as the door begins to open. So don’t hesitate to give us a call this week if you’d like to chat about your options. You can call us any time at Barry Plant Frankston on 9781 3100.

Best wishes,
